这并不是最主要的,Michael发现WF现在重新制定了退货政策,WF可以让供应商自行选择供应商负责退货还是Wayfair平台负责处理售后,这其实和HD有些相似但又有些不同,具体WF的新退货政策是怎么样的呢?下面给各位卖家分享一下:
一、卖家供应商自行管理退货
Supplier Managed Returns
Under our Supplier Managed Returns program: Returns are sent back to your selected location regardless of product condition.
Operationally, you choose to receive all returned itEMS and are responsible for any monetization efforts (e.g., resale, liquidation).
Exception: Returns that would cross an international border, which, due to cost-prohibitive customs and shipping costs, will all be handled by Wayfair and subject to the Wayfair Managed Returns credit deduction noted in detail below.
Financially, Wayfair deducts a credit on the next voucher equal to the item’s wholesale cost. On large parcel items, Wayfair will also deduct 50% of the estimated charges for shipping back to your selected location. Note, dependent upon the jurisdiction, taxes (i.e., VAT, sales tax) will be adjusted as applicable.
You may dispute this credit for 100% of the product wholesale cost if the item (1) is never received, (2) is not your item, or (3) is a customer scam.
You may dispute this credit for 50% of the product wholesale cost if the item is received in a non-perfect condition.

Example:
Assuming a large parcel nightstand is returned worth $100 in wholesale cost with estimated return shipping costs of $20.
The Supplier Managed Returns program credit deduction consists of the following:
-$100 wholesale cost previously paid by Wayfair
-$10 Estimated return shipping to cover 50% of the charges for shipping large parcel items to your selected location (Note, this cost only applies because this example item is large parcel. The shipping cost applied to the credit is our best estimate and you will not be deducted for the actual return shipping costs if the costs vary).
On the next voucher, Wayfair will receive a credit deduction equal to $110 for that return (excluding any relevant tax adjustments).

Wayfair Managed Returns
Under our Wayfair Managed Returns program: Wayfair handles all returns, receiving the returned items at a Wayfair warehouse for processing. Note, you may enroll in this program for either 1) all returned items or for 2) large parcel returned items only. It is not yet possible to enroll select items or categories into Wayfair Managed Returns.
Operationally, you will opt to have Wayfair handle receiving, grading, and processing of returned items. Wayfair will work to resell and monetize the returned items.
Financially, after processing, Wayfair will deduct credits for returned items on the next voucher. The Return Credit Deduction will be based on historical returns resell performance, updated twice a year on September 1st and March 1st based on the previous 12-month period (“Return Credit Deduction Adjustment Period”).
For more detail on the Return Credit Deduction:
Calculated as a percentage of wholesale cost by evaluating Wayfair’s average historical ability to resell items (by country) minus processing and handling costs.
Once you have more than 25 returned items in the previous Return Credit Deduction Adjustment Period, the return credit deduction will be based on your items’ average historical resell behavior.
Country specific due to differences in resale behavior by geography.
To get started, the approximate percentage (based on Wayfair’s average historical resale ability) is shown below. Subject to the first reset on March 1st, 2023:

Example:
Assuming a large parcel nightstand is returned worth $100 wholesale cost and Wayfair can on average resell items for ~50 cents/dollar (i.e., at 50%).
The Wayfair Managed Returns credit deduction consists of the following:
-$100 wholesale cost previously paid by Wayfair
-$24 Processing and handling costs
+$50 Average resale proceeds Wayfair passes back to you based on historical performance (i.e, 50% of $100 wholesale cost)
On the next voucher, Wayfair will receive a credit deduction equal to $74 for this return (excluding any relevant tax adjustments).

做过WF的卖家都知道,今年和去年的环境相差有多大,选择在这个时候入驻Overstock、Homedepot、Lowe's等其他平台还是能够吃到早期红利的,相对而言竞争没有那么激烈,当然有一定门槛的平台入驻是比较困难的,没什么门槛的平台,估计大家也已经做了!
